If you know the benefits of making aspirations, who would then be willing to go though such great hardships and to only earn meagre returns? The so-called benefits of making aspirations only means that when you give others a grain of rice, multiply (the returns) by infinity; when you light a lamp, multiply (the returns) by infinity, when you prostate once to Buddha, multiply (the returns) by infinity…, all these are highly profitable affairs that have guaranteed earnings with no losses, who would then be willing to treat making aspirations as unimportant?
