Why does listening to the teaching help us realised that we are wrong? Because listening to the teaching will slowly calm our mind. A calm mind can then generate the discerning wisdom, to identify what is right or wrong. Just like a tranquil lake, it can reflect the clouds and flying birds in the day, it can embrace the dazzling starry sky in the night.
