Currently the one who saves us – the Buddha. Buddha is everywhere. Well then why can’t we see Him? That is because of our karmic obstacle.
The dharmakaya (法身) of the buddha is everywhere. We are unable to see him because we are not in concordance with his teachings yet. ????????
The fact that we are still common laypersons with heavy afflictions only means that we should leverage on the solemn atmosphere in the shrine hall and pay uptmost respect to the Buddha’s statue.
It serves as reminder for us to reflect on our karmic obstacles, to rely on the Three Jewels wholeheartedly and to put into practice the teachings every day.
Namo Gurubhya
Namo Buddhaya
Namo Dharmaya
Namo Sanghaya
