Daily 1 Min Meditation 171207

The Conqueror’s teaching is distinguished by compassion. Therefore, once you have gone to his teaching for refuge, you should also be compassionate toward living beings and forsake harming them.

It’s so difficult to show sympathy to those engaged in an agrument with me! Most often during the exchange in a heated agrument, I have forgotten how to put myself in the other party’s shoes.

Yes, I will think he or she is ignorant. Yet there was no empathy or sympathy during those moments of verbal outpour. Upon subsequent reflection, I noticed then I have to empathise, sympathise and even thank him or her for helping me to practice the teachings that I have learnt.

  1. Sympathise his/her ignorance
  2. Pity him/her being more ignorant than animals
  3. Issued resolved when sympathy arises
  4. In concordance with the teachings
  5. Benefited myself and the community
  6. Others will easily accept my help in future
