But there is no harm thinking about this by using what you can relate to. Next, the filth that one has eaten as a dog or a pig, would pile up higher than Mount Meru. This is [specifically] for those who have greed. What are the things they are greedy for? Food, beverages and so on. Furthermore, for those who find it difficult to part with their loved ones and friends, “in the realms of cyclic existence,” you will lose them. After you lose them, the tears we shed would amount to much more than that. When you think of this, ah-ya, for the difficulties of losing someone, there is nothing that you cannot let go of, nothing that you cannot let go of. Likewise, for those who have great hostilities, just look at that. Everyone would fight for some small matter – but at least our normal fights would not end up costing our lives! If we fight until we lose our lives, our heads severed from it would pile up beyond the Brahma’s heaven. Ah, that is unbelievable! Next, we will fall to become a worm to eat dung, soil that are so many times more!

可是却是不妨以你们自己的量去想一下。然后呢在这个犬豕当中所吃的不淨，高过于须弥山。这个是对贪的人，对贪什么？饮食等等。还有呢，对亲友难分别的人，「又于生死中」别离，别离了以后，我们流的眼泪已经高过这样，你想到了这一点，哎呀，难舍的这种事情，没有一点舍不掉的﹑没有一点舍不掉。还有呢如果嗔心大的话，你看看哪，是为了大家一点斗争——这个平常我们斗争总不至于送掉性命吧！斗争乃至于把命送掉，那个头积起来高过于梵世。唉，那个是不得了啊！然后呢，我们堕落小虫当中吃这个大粪、土，也这么多啊！
